Mr. Alok Kumar Mallick started Swarn Computer Press way back in 1995 with a sole vision and a dream to revolutionize the print culture of Deoghar. He introduced the modern computerized technologies into the traditional printing practices after getting additional Desk Top Publishing courses. Mr. Mallick started his career in 1991. He set off for New Delhi and worked in an esteemed company acquiring knowledge about computers, modern technologies, markets and businesses. Working in Delhi, Mr. Mallick was driven by a force that “he wanted to give employment to as many people as he can, rather than just being an employee himself.” This was the point where the story of Swarm Computer Press began. He left a well-paid job in a big city just to return home and build his dream into reality, slowly but strongly.
Consequently, in 1995, renting out a small office space atTower Chowk, Deoghar, he established the Swarn Computer Press with a couple of staff members. A few years later, Mr. Chandan Mallick also became a part of this journey. He being an M.A. from Hindu College, Delhi University is well literate and professionally qualified. Today, 25 years later, as a result of that collaboration and sincere efforts, Swarn Computer Press stands as one of the largest printing facilities in Deoghar. Office location shifted to a much larger self-owned space, the Press now consists of a workshop with a team of remarkable staff members, and technicians, growingand getting better with each passing day.
